Ongoing Project Mori is an autopographical research project looking at deep time as a contextual positioning in knowing the self. A material study, the work engages with on-site mould making rocks using plastic clay. Engaging with places of significance, the project is an on-site exploration in both natural materials and the material of the self and the body. In some resolitions, glass is used to frame the rocks. The slumped nature used to reveal the outcomes allowing the glass to also be in relationship with the rocks. The materials conceal and reveal themselves in a cycle of meeting and being.
