Inspired by eco-feminist readings and exploration of dualistic systems, the Installation explores the consumation of spoken word and images and references to place. This suite of parts works to explore my autotopographic practice; centering the body in place so to investigate the self. In this river, months before this work was resolved, I broke my foot badly while filming a previous work. The beginning of a deep experience with the self. As a result, an inquiring of both place and self erupted. Resulting is a project on time and the making of things, five monologues in dialogue, an image of a place, oysters from the past, and my reformation.
